And we’re done!
8 people submitted full solutions and because no one submitted partial solutions, they each get 6 entries in the pool. This makes it equally likely for anyone to win so I sacked the prize pool idea and opt for a different deciding method. 8 is such a perfect number to conduct a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament!
The placing is based on the order I received the submissions, and the format is based on the standard seeded knockout tournament. I requested a few hands of Rock, Paper, Scissors from each participant and here are the results:
- James McGowan
- Alan O’Donnell
- Nikola Zivanovic
- Marko Obradovic
- Maja Gribajcevic
- Vanda Petanjek
- Goran Vodopija
- Term Ital
And that wraps up the first Code Road!
Congratulations to Maja Gribajcevic of Bosnia and Herzegovina!
The 2013 Mindbenders Calendar will hopefully make its way before New Year. Big thanks to the remaining seven players who coloured the event and made it livelier. Based on the amount of views on each page, I suspect there are a number of participants that did not submit, despite solving a lot of puzzles. Why not?
Code Road will return next year, but before that, keep your eyes open for other competitions I will be hosting in the meantime. Solutions and reports will follow soon. Thanks for playing everyone!
